The Corvette C6 car from the Chevrolet group is the sixth generation sports vehicle, released in the year 2005. It is the first vehicle to include head lamps exposed since the generation of C1, which was under production till 1962.
Among the several packages produced by the other companies, the C6 and the ZR- 1 are the most dominant productions from Chevrolet to date. As stated by the Motor Trend Magazine, the model C6 will not be followed with the C7 until the calendar year 2012.
The features of the vehicle include:

• Frames made up of Aluminium and steel
• Balsa wood floors
• Magnesium Alloy engine
• Carbon-ceramic brakes
• Large 275/35ZR18 tires in front and 325/30ZR19 tires in the rear.
The model C6 R was released in order to replace the C5- R model, which was built by Miller and Pratt. It was released in the year 2005 and stood in second and third in class next to Aston Martin race car. Corvette C6- R won the GT1 championship of American Le Mans and won the 12 hours Sebring in GT1 class.
The engine LS7 R is the heart of the model C6 as it was awarded with the Global Motor Sport Engine competing 50 race engines. The contest was held in Cologne, Germany at the Motorsport World Expo in the year 2006.
The roof, fenders, rocker moldings and the hood are made with the Carbon fiber and the fenders and hood are painted. The vehicle is provided with the Carbon ceramic brakes.
